ART INSPIRATION

Below is information on a number of artists that have inspired my way of thinking when it comes to art.

Jean-Michel Basquiat

Jean-Michel was an American artist who started his career as a street Graffiti artist in New York City by spray painting messages under the name of SAMO. ("SAMO as an escape clause"). During the 1980's at age 19 he  took part in the 'Time Square Show' where his art gained wide attention from both press and critics. Basquiat was a controversial contemporary artist who later would collaborate with Andy Warhol. Basquiat died of a Heroin overdoes on August 12th 1988

Chris Sebo

After a recent trip to Hawaii, i viewed a very talented Street artist by the name of Chris Sebo. His spray paint art blew my mind, and i can definitely say that seeing his street art inspired me to pick up a spray can and start learning Spray Paint Art.
